t is in the heart of Apulia, in Altamura, where a small mill stood after the Second World War, that the first vertical garden in Southern Italy was created. Oro Bianco is a new residential complex of ten apartments and two commercial premises that with the name recalls the flour that was once ground there. Immersed in the Murgia territory, Edil Pepe is an innovative green green building project that combines technology and sustainability: a facade completely covered with vegetation, conceived as a true work of art. It is not only the eye that rejoices in fact, the plants absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and UV rays, ensuring the thermoregulation of the structure and preventing the loss of heat during the night hours optimizing energy savings. The vertical development of urban greenery is concretized in the choice of species and ornamental varieties that adapt to the climate of the place, often characterized by drought; for this reason we opted for xerophytic plants, such as cacti, prickly pear, agave. The garden is exposed to the North East and together with the xerophytic plants it also boasts pomegranate, laurel, strawberry tree, Rhamnus, myrtle and viburnum plants, exploiting the brightness of the high parts of the building.
"Through the project of Oro Bianco - says Antonio Pepe who, before founding the company Edil Pepe was a real estate agent and energy consultant for the building industry - we aim to promote urban regeneration and forestation through innovation and environmental sustainability, while enhancing the tradition of milling art of our land". As always, Puglia is at the forefront. This is the Puglia that Just Puglia Factory loves.
What we are about to tell you is a great little story of Puglia. A story all Salento born in Martano, from the passion and imagination of Domenica Scordari, born in 1966. Since he was a child Domenico is fascinated by the beauty of nature and plants and spends his days with the local farmers who tell him about the ancient traditions and herbal remedies. When he was only 15 years old he started working in the family business but after about eight years, at the age of 23, Domenico decided to follow his dream and founded N&B, Natura & Benessere, a small artisan laboratory producing herbal extracts and natural solutions to propose to doctors, pharmacists and dermatologists and created step by step a complete production chain: organic cultivation, extraction of organic active ingredients, production of natural and organic cosmetics, all putting people and the planet first. A mission and vision of responsible and sustainable business that over the years will be winning and revolutionary. One of the latest and most important initiatives is MARTANO CITY OF ALOE , a real example of collaboration between private and public through the donation and planting of over 3,000 aloe plants in all the flowerbeds and parks of the City of Martano, transforming Martano into the first aloe city in the world. Special guests at the event were the actress Helen Mirren and the famous director Taylor Hackford.
In a few years N&B has conquered first the Italian market, then the European and world markets, becoming the supplier of many important companies in the sector for which it has created, with the private label formula, high quality products, taking care of their realization step by step. An Apulian story, a beautiful story, one of the many stories of Just Puglia Factory.

We want to take you to one of the most unknown corners of Puglia, far from mass tourism, a holiday for true enthusiasts along the ancient Via del Sale. The salt harvesting was a secular activity that took place until the sixties and that took place inside special pools, dug into the rocks of the cliff, to then be transported through sheep-tracks that, from the sea, reached the inland. With the complicity of the low tide and thanks to the presence of these natural containers represented by the cavities that opened inside the cliffs, the salt that dried in the sun accumulated, taking benefit of the sea that, withdrawing, allowed it to dry in the sun. The routes taken by the smugglers, who lived from this illegal activity, were called "tratturi" and reached the sea. Following them to the sea is a fascinating adventure in an ancient and untouched nature characterized by the typical dry stone walls and pajares, typical of this territory and dating back many centuries, a true artistic and natural heritage that the town of Corsano has tried to preserve in an integral way together with the
Salt Park-Museum. An Apulia not to be missed!
Puglia Sounds is the Regione Puglia's innovative programme for the development of the regional music system. It is the first public project in Italy that develops system actions, targeted interventions, partnerships and promotion activities aimed at supporting the artistic, professional, entrepreneurial and institutional components that contribute to the production, distribution and musical promotion of the territory, in order to enhance the rich musical heritage that distinguishes the Region of Puglia, making it visible and actively encouraging its presence in the main national and international markets.
Over the years, Puglia Sounds has divided its initiatives into systemic actions and specific actions of public evidence, organized according to 3 lines of intervention: the first, Puglia Sounds Export, is the line of intervention dedicated to the promotion of Apulian music in Italy and abroad and the internationalization of the regional music system. The second one,
Puglia Sounds Live is the line of intervention that supports and consolidates the musical activity on the territory and structurally acts on the segment of festivals and live music in Puglia. Puglia Sounds Record, finally, is the line of intervention aimed at promoting and communicating new record productions. A fine example of help and support for Apulian musical artists that can become an example for other Italian regions.
